Yukihiro Ishihara received the FY2026 Maeda Engineering Award (Civil Engineering Division). The award-winning doctoral research, “Use of Press-in Piling Data for Estimating Subsurface Information and Pile Performance,” proposed a methodology for estimating ground conditions and the performance of piles and sheet piles using construction data such as press-in force and penetration depth obtained during press-in piling operations.
